Hikes to the Edlweiss Hut
Discover the beauty of the South Tyrolean mountains on the varied hiking trails around the Edlweiss Hut. From short walks to long hikes, there is something for everyone:

- Edlweiss Hütte – Almrosenhütte – Rauch – Compatsch: ca. 2 h (no. 12A, 30)
- Edlweiss Hütte – Almrosenhütte – Saltria: ca. 1 h 15‘ (no. 7, 12, 9)
- Edlweiss Hütte – Almrosenhütte – Mahlknechthütte – Saltria: ca. 1 h 45‘ (no. 7, 8, 9)
- Edlweiss Hütte – Mahlknechthütte: ca. 45‘ (no. 7)
- Mahlknechthütte – Saltria: ca. 1 h (no. 8, 9)
- Saltria – Compatsch: ca. 1 h 5‘ (no. 30, 12A)

How to
find us
You can find us on the Seiser Alm, just below the Goldknopf on the so-called Grimmwiese. The huts consist of two wooden huts next to each other, covered with wooden shingles. An oval pond just below the huts serves as a landmark..

The Edlweisshütte currently has the following opening hours:
From 3 April 2025 to 22 May 2025 the Edlweisshütte will be closed
The Edlweisshütte is open from 23 May 2025 to 2 November 2025 (Rest day: Saturday)
